Lunchtime Extracurricular Programs
SAC is happy to help bring lunchtime programs to Denlow families, for your convenience! These activities are run by outside vendors, and we simply help coordinate the schedule.
This is not a fundraising initiative and are completely optional. Please note dates and ensure your children are reminded that they have a program that day.

Fall Extracurriculars 2026
Please note: Programs will run only if minimum attendance numbers are reached. If your program does not meet the required numbers, you will receive a refund.
Knitting & Crochet Club
Grades 2–5
Fridays, October 16 to December 18, 2026
9 sessions (PA Day November 20)
In this fun, hands-on fiber arts class, students will learn the basics of knitting, including how to cast on, knit, purl, bind off, and read simple patterns.
Students will also have the opportunity to learn basic crochet skills, including how to chain and create simple crochet stitches.

Coding for Robotics
Grades 3–5
Wednesdays, October 14 to December 16, 2026
10 sessions
Students will develop their logic and coding skills using the LEGO Spike Prime Robotics kits. They will use math and engineering principles to achieve goals and solve fun missions.

Chess
Grades 1–5
Thursdays, October 15 to December 17, 2026
10 sessions
Chess helps students build strategy, concentration, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills while having fun and learning to play the game.
Science Surprise
Grades 1–5
Tuesdays, October 13 to December 15, 2026
10 sessions
This program will amaze your child and show them how cool science, chess, and engineering can be!
